Chapter B Rider Education

When GWRRA decided upon the motto "Friends for fun, safely, and knowledge", one can only surmise that by design two of the three attributes involved education. One cannot continually achieve safe "fun" without the other components of safety and knowledge (education).

Chapter B subscribes to that theory. Each month there is an article in our newsletter addressing some general topic of safety interest. Also, as part of our permanent agenda, there is a short discussion on a selected safety topic.

Chapter B is committed to the GWRRA Rider Education Program. This program represents 4 levels:

Level I Safety by Commitment

No matter what your riding skills are, we are challenging you to make a commitment to ride safely.

Level II Safety by Education

This level requires you to complete one of the approved rider courses.

Level III Safety by Preparedness

This level requires you to complete a CPR/First Aid course. This will prepare you to give assistance in the event of an accident.

Level IV

Following one year of active participation as a Level III member, you are eligible to become a level IV. With this level you become an officer in the GWRRA. You represent the best of the best in motorcycle safety.

Chapter B is commited to the education and safety of our members. We'll even pay your Level I fees to encourage your participation!

There are other many other GWRRA approved courses that will be made available to you. They include trailering, Co-rider, Road Captain, Side-Car, and Trike - to name a few. There are also many field events where you can competitively use your skills.

Chapter B has fun - no doubt about it, but we are also constantly striving to promote safety and knowledge!
